Orientation to the Texas Education Code (online course)




The Orientation to the Texas Education Code is designed to provide training for all new school board members within their first 120 days of service on the board. It provides a basic introduction to school board service and builds knowledge on roles and responsibilities, rules, laws and general information surrounding board member expectations. The only authorized provider of this training is Education Service Centers.

Important Session Information:


This online training is level I training for school board members and is to be completed upon 120 days of becoming a member of the board. The course will take 3 hours to complete and should be completed within a 14 day period. To gain access to the course please email skucera@esc12.net. This is an on-demand course available at all times.
