Prekindergarten Partnership Focus Group: Increasing Access to High Quality Learning




The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TXAEYC) will be facilitating a Prekindergarten Partnership Regional Focus Group.  In this interactive session, we will map the community landscape, identify potential barriers and bridge connections to support successful, sustainable partnerships while blending the RECESS partnership initiative and House bill 3 requirements.  TXAEYC is one of four organizations within the state to receive the Regional Early Childhood Education Support Specialist (RECESS) grant from the Texas Education Agency to provide support to school districts and early learning programs to create prekindergarten partnerships.  Our goal is to support school districts and early learning programs to provide strong, sustainable, high quality learning environments for all prekindergarten childre
