NGS/MSIX Training




This course will engage participants in learning about the policies, procedures and data management requirements developed for implementing the New Generation System (NGS) activities in Texas. The course is designed to help NGS Data Specialists understand the required data activities and to support Education Service Center (ESC) and local education agency (LEA) quality control measures. This course also serves as the State’s annual training for the 2019-2020 school year for all migrant staff who are responsible for encoding migrant student data into the New Generation System.
