Suicide Response Protocols: Considerations for Safety and Support Suicide Protocols Webinar
More and more, we are seeing a need for support in our schools for mental health needs. When students experience a crisis and need support, there are many things to consider for that continuum and how best to provide care and ensure safety to the greatest degree possible. As schools form their response plans or "protocols", several factors should be covered and best decisions made for a comprehensive plan for individuals who are in crisis. In this session, participants will explore those impacting factors and consider methods for proper crisis event identification, confidential handling of situations, use of appropriate and confidential documentation, and how to proceed with protocol plans for a campus and/or district.
