Assessing for Dysgraphia within a Special Education Full Individual Evaluation, K-12/ Student Evaluation
Dysgraphia in the FIE




This session will assist Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams in understanding the dysgraphia identification process. Discussions will include the elements of writing, the definition of dysgraphia, characteristics of dysgraphia, and specific areas to assess.

Participants will learn how to incorporate these elements into a special education full individual evaluation and how to differentiate between dysgraphia and other specific learning disabilities in written expression.

Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this Virtual Learning PD at Region 12. Participants will receive 6 hours of credit for this session. Participants will complete a Canvas course (with prerecorded material) prior to a follow-up virtual meeting on July 30th. More information will be sent to participants on Thursday, July 23.
