CIRCLE Preschool Foundations




The CIRCLE Preschool Foundations Training is an interactive two-day professional development session for teachers of young children. This session is licensed by the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and is conducted by trainers certified by UTHealth.

We are excited to announce that this training will be offered in a blended learning model to include a combination of four 1.5 hour synchronous (Zoom) sessions and 6 hours of asynchronous work (Canvas) across the course of a four-week period as outlined below:

9/29/2020 4:00 - 5:30 Welcome and Best Practices (Zoom)

10/6/2020 4:00 - 5:30 Language Development & Phonological Awareness (Zoom)

10/13/2020 4:00 - 5:30 Letter Knowledge & Book Reading (Zoom)

10/20/2020 4:00 - 5:30 Written Expression & Mathematics (Zoom) 

*1.5 hours of asynchronous application work will follow each Zoom session

Zoom links, an invitation to the Canvas course, and details regarding picking up the session materials will be sent via email by 9/22/2020. 


Important Session Information:


Participants will receive a Circle Manual prior to the session. This will be made available for pick up at a designated time at ESC Region 12. The materials fee is included in the session price.  


**Participants must attend all four Zoom sessions and complete the full asynchronous work to receive credit for completing the training. 

Enhanced Co-op members attend at no additional fee.
