I'm ESL Certified, now what?

Congratulations! You have taken the first step to becoming an expert ESL teacher!

Whether you have just taken and passed your ESL certification test, or you have been certified forever, you may still have questions about how to really "start" or "re-boot" serving Emergent Bilingual Learners.

This full day session focuses on 10 practices to incorporate in your classroom and professional life that will make your learning environment an academic language hot spot!

Using the text 7 Steps to a Language-Rich Interactive Classroom by John Seidlitz and Bill Perryman as a basis, we will add 3 more strategies and/or practices to ensure you have the tools you need to help your EB students soar.
