TEA - Teacher Incentive Allotment
TETN #928 ZOOM




The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) team from TEA will be partnering with regional service centers to host regional meetings throughout Texas in February and March. This is an opportunity for TEA to provide support to help districts navigate the requirements, processes, and deadlines for TIA. Our goal is to familiarize district leaders with the logistics and components of the TIA application process and begin providing technical support to districts as they develop their local teacher designation plan. Districts may wish to share this opportunity with points of contact who will be overseeing the Teacher Incentive Allotment in their district. Personnel to consider include those who specialize in: teacher appraisal, testing and student data analytics, human capital, finance and teacher compensation, and change management.
