Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
Per AHA guidelines




The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is a classroom, instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid and CPR, and to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration and a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED course completion card, valid for two years.

Coordinated School Health Co-op attends for FREE.


Important Session Information:


Heartsaver is the term for CPR and associated skills for any non-medical persons.  The American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED course is instructor-led with videos and hands-on training. It is designed to prepare participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Heartsaver First Aid is for licensed nurses as well as the non-medical personnel. If you are a nurse and only need FA, see times below.

CPR/AED will be from 9 am-12 noon; First Aid will be 1-4 pm.  One or both may be taken by signing up for this session.  You will get an e-card for which one(s) you complete.

Coordinated School Health members attend at no additional fee.
