Assistive Technology: Switches & Mounting
Webinar
Share
Students with cognitive and physical disabilities may find it difficult to interact with the world in the same way as others. Turning on a light switch, playing with a toy, even accessing a book or game on the computer may not be possible due to physical limitations. The solution is not performing activities for these students, or picking up their hand to help them assist with an activity. The answer is to have a interface and a switch that is properly mounted to empower a student to gain independent access to the activity across a variety of environments. Attend this session to learn about new solutions from AbleNet, mounting solutions and in use ideas.
