Reading Practices Refresher




Reading is a complex cognitive process. A skilled reader combines word recognition and language comprehension to make meaning of text. Years of research have identified the theory and practice of teaching reading. This session will cover potential areas identified in the state’s Science of Teaching Reading Standards that will aid individuals in preparing for the cohort leader screening.
