Adapted Books: Meeting the Needs of Complex Learners in Middle School Settings

Multi-sensory books are a great way to foster the development of literacy skills and make curricular connections in all subjects for students with significant disabilities. Join in this learning experience to learn about creating books to meet the needs of your students with complex access needs. 

Materials to create an adapted book will be provided for this fun and hands on experience!

This is day 1 of a two part workshop; you will be required to sign up for day 2, Principles of Active Learning Make n’ Take.
