Teaching Differently: Evidence Based Practices for Teaching Students with Autism




Participants will explore and create materials for the top 5 evidence based practices as identified by the National Professional Development Center on Autism for working with students with Autism.  These 5 core strategies have been found to be most effective in the classroom.  Strategies include reinforcement, differential reinforcement, prompting, task analysis, and modeling.

Important Session Information:


This course will be moved to an online canvas course that will be available for two weeks from the start date.  An email with information to join the canvas course will be emailed out on the first day of the course. The course will be closed two weeks after the start date and credit will be awarded based on the completion of the canvas course activities.

This program has been approved for continuing education credit by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA).  TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.
