Teaching Differently: Instructional Strategies for Teaching Math to Students with Autism




Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders may have difficulties accessing mathematics instruction.  This session will explore the characteristics of ASD and strategies for teaching mathematics to students with ASD.  This session will include alignment of TEKS/prerequisite skills and a lesson planning opportunity.
