Data Driven Small Groups and Planning in Early Childhood (PK-K)




High quality early learning programs use data to drive decision making with help from research-based tools that track progress in in child skills.  Participants in this workshop will learn how to use progress monitoring data to understand student skills, identify areas of necessary improvement, and design individualized instruction to support areas in which students are at risk for falling behind.  Teachers will have the opportunity to analyze their own class data to identify specific areas of need and develop an instructional plan to improve student achievement outcomes.

Comprehensive co-op may attend at no additional fee.

This session will follow a hybrid learning model, blending self-paced learning as well as collaborative synchronous opportunities (Zoom). Participants will receive an email and invitation to a Canvas course on February 9, 2021  where they can begin the course prework (2 hours).  All participants will meet in a live Zoom meeting from 3:45 - 5:45 on February 16, 2021 (2 hours).  Following the Zoom, participants will have until February 23, 2021 to complete the culminating activity with feedback provided (2 hours). All components must be completed for full credit.
