Math Discourse in Grades K-2

In order for any math concept to result in ultimate learning, we need to allow intentional time as well as provide tools for students to engage in rich mathematical discourse. The "How" and "When" of any mathematical discourse is the key in achieving the desired learning outcome. In our session, we will practice implementing different tools and scenarios to better understand the true nature of proper discourse in mathematics.
