School Based Mental Health Programs Update




HB 18 is the Mental Health bill from the 86th legislative session focusing on positive behavioral supports for students with mental health and substance abuse challenges as well as focusing on a Comprehensive School Counseling Program (based on the Texas Model Guide). 

Important Session Information:


Counselor Co-op members attend at no additional fee.

In this session, school mental health providers and school counselors will learn about healthy program implementation based on TEA-approved and evidence-based support resources as well as explore integrating these programs into existing school counseling systems.
