G/T Basic I: Nature and Needs of Gifted Learners




Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics and behaviors of gifted learners in order to develop programs that meet their needs. This is the first of five six-hour training sessions, and it forms the core of the 30 hours of G/T training certification. This workshop meets state requirements for G/T basic training in nature and needs of G/T students.

Important Session Information:


This session is Day 1 of the 30-hr training required of teachers who serve gifted students. 

G/T Co-op members may attend at no additional fee.

This model is an innovative hybrid learning model, blending both self-paced learnings with collaborative live opportunities via Zoom. The date listed is for the Zoom call...additional work may be required. All sessions will utilize a Canvas course for pre/post work. All sessions will be recorded for viewing if unable to attend the live session. If watching the recording we ask that you complete the accountability form in Canvas for attendance purposes.
