Cross Curricular Connections in the K-2 Science Classroom




In this sessions, participants will experience activities that integrate a science topic with math, RLA, social studies, technology, and fine arts. A focus on differentiation for all students including ELLs will be included in the exemplar. Participants will also create their own activities during the pre and post work and share and discuss with others.

Do not miss the opportunity to be part of this innovative Virtual Learning PD hosted by Region 12.Participants will receive 6 hours of credit for this session.

This session will be a virtual, self-paced training. You will receive an email inviting you to a Canvas course on June 15, with a recommended timeline to complete the coursework. On June 22, there will be a 1-hour Zoom check-in* in order to reflect and discuss the learning, as well as set the next steps for the remainder of the learning. The session will close in ESCWorks on July 3 in order to begin the process of awarding credit.
*Attendance at the Zoom check-in, as well as active engagement throughout the Canvas course, isrequired to be awarded the full six hours of CPE credit.
