This Food Buying Guide (FBG) class provides participants with information about the web-based interactive FBG. Participants will engage in hands on activities to successfully navigate the FBG and apply these skills to their own roles in NSLP.
This class will cover the fundamentals of the Food Buying Guide and demonstrate:
- How to navigate the web-based FBG
- Calculating the amount of food to purchase
- How to determine creditable yield data for foods.
