Sheltered Instruction is a method of teaching that incorporates high yield strategies to help English Learners acquire and develop language while also learning content. 

Join us as we provide concrete examples and real-world scenarios to help you make this a reality in your classroom. 

Important Session Information:

Certain strategies and teaching methods are more effective with English Learners. Learning to identify what strategies your students need to be successful can make a marked difference in student outcomes. This session will be tailored to Middle School and High School Math. 

This blended session will begin with an accompanying Canvas course to build background, include a face to face component, and a culminating activity. 

Title III, Part A Billingual/ESL/LEP SSA co-op members attend at no additional fee.
