Participants will learn the key components of early-to-exit transition, with an emphasis on post-secondary transition planning, and will build confidence in their ability to implement a compliant transition program. This transition overview course will provide training on:
- State and federal requirements,
- Evidence-based best practice,
- Course selection and graduation options,
- The basics of work-based learning, CTE, and VAC,
- The importance of inter-agency collaboration, and
- How to set up a compliant transition-planning system.
This session is offered as a two-week, flexible, moderated Canvas course. Participants will proceed at their own pace, within established check points. Additional information and access to the course will be provided in advance of the course start date.
