G/T 6hr Update - Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students Book Study
Summer 2021




 

Join ESC Region 12 as we embark on a six-week online book study of Christine Fonseca’s book, Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students: Helping Kids Cope with Explosive Feelings. This book provides a much-needed resource for parents and educators for understanding of why gifted children are so extreme in their behavior and how to manage the highs and lows that accompany emotional intensity.

Important Session Information:


This six week, instructor led book study will take place via a Canvas course. Participants will be assigned specific chapters to be read, questions to complete via a discussion board with optional live Zoom meetings for discussion twice during the book study. Participants will need to pay a materials fee to receive a paperback copy of the text, Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students, to be picked up at the ESC the week prior to the book study beginning. Pick up times will be announced.

Gifted and Talented Co-op members attend for the price of the book ($15).

Books will be available at the registration desk.
