We’ve all seen that student whose backpack is stuffed with papers from years ago, the student who completed homework but lost it between home and school, or the one who walked around for five minutes looking for a pencil and found it in his hand.
These students aren’t intentionally misbehaving. They just lack the necessary skills needed to be an efficient and effective individual. In this training, participants will:
-Identify/Define the different executive function skills
-Lean how executive functions affect student performance
-Learn how to assess executive functions
-Learn strategies for teaching organization and planning
