Unpacking the New ELAR TEKS: Reflect, Collaborate, & Strategize (6-12)

New can be exciting, but also overwhelming! As you continue to process & internalize the new TEKS, join us for the opportunity to draw on your content knowledge, and engage with the expertise of your colleagues to reflect & discuss some of the more challenging student expectations. We will explore strategies for conceptualizing the expectation implications, what mastery looks like, and how to design instruction that will help students achieve it. Bring the student expectations that are the most difficult to teach, the most difficult for students to master, and walk away with a clear & specific plan of targeted instruction that will create a pathway of success for your students.
