Stop the Bleed is a state mandated training.  Participants will meet this requirement.  This training will be conducted by Central Texas Regional Advisory Council.

The presentation is followed by a hands-on portion where each participant will practice the skills demonstrated in the presentation.

Important Session Information:


HB 496 requires any staff who may be expected to offer assistance in an emergency situation to complete the Stop the Bleed training.  This training will satisfy that requirement.  It is presented by Francisco Villa, Deputy Director of the  Central Texas Regional Advisory Council and Heart of Texas Regional Advisory Council.  It is offered at no charge and facilitated by the Region 12 Education Service Center.  Participants will learn how to administer Stop the Bleed and will then practice the necessary skills.
