Math Academy: Gr. 3
Face-to-Face Session




The 3rd grade Math Achievement Academy will enhance teachers' knowledge and skills so they can effectively teach students to achieve mathematical proficiency. The academy will deepen teachers' understanding of research-based instructional practices in mathematics which teachers can use to develop students' problem-solving skills along with a strong foundation of priority TEKS. 

Eligible teachers from priority campuses will earn a $350 stipend for the successful completion of the academy. 

Important Session Information:


Please note: Participating teachers must provide instruction directly to students in 3rd-grade mathematics. Teachers who provide direct instruction include classroom teachers, special education teachers, and interventionists. 

Curriculum specialists, instructional coaches, or other staff positions who work with teachers but do not regularly provide direct instruction to students are not eligible to attend.

Participants who successfully complete all 3 days, will receive a $350 stipend.
