Teaching Young Children with Special Needs in Inclusive Settings




The building blocks framework is a universal framework that can be implemented in the context of a variety of curricula or approaches. Meet the needs of early childhood students in inclusive settings by preparing a high quality learning environment with curriculum modifications and adaptations, embedded learning opportunities, and explicit, child focused instructional strategies. 

Important Session Information:


This is a 6 session series to include the following:

Module 1: Overview of Getting started with the Building Blocks Framework

Module 2: Ongoing Child Assessment

Module 3: Planning for the Individual Child

Module 4: Visual Supports - Strategies to Facilitate Access, Participation, and Learning

Module 5: Using the Building Blocks for Math and Science

Module 6: Applying the Building Blocks Framework to Address Challenging Behavior
