G/T 6hr Update - Utilizing Project-Based Learning to Make Learning Meaningful

Project-Based Learning (PBL) encourages students to learn and apply knowledge and skills through an experience that is designed to engage and empower. In this learning experience, educators will learn how PBL can impact every learner including gifted learners as they learn by doing, create products, and share with authentic audiences. Educators will leave this session with tools, ideas and strategies to make project-based learning both manageable and meaningful.

Important Session Information:

This 6-hour G/T update provides attendees with an opportunity to discuss current practices with the Texas State Performance Standard project and how these practices can be adjusted and molded to move towards Genius Hour for students.

GT Co-op members attend at no additional fee.
