ESC Speech Pathology Webinar Series
Social Pragmatic Communication Assessment

This interactive webinar series has proven to be an excellent source of continuing education for many speech pathologists and other school staff since 2012. In this series, we are once again offering high-quality learning opportunities, so speech pathologists and speech pathology assistants can improve upon their existing skill set. Developed through the thoughtful collaboration of ALL twenty education service centers, we have secured respected presenters to deliver timely and high-level learning topics, all conveniently delivered to your computer/device.  The more informed you are, the better prepared you are to serve your students.  Join us throughout the school year for any one, a few, or all of our SLP webinars.

Important Session Information:

Standardized testing rarely provides information necessary to develop meaningful functional pragmatic goals. That’s because social-pragmatic communication is dependent upon a dynamic interplay between psychology, language, and context. This session will provide you with the techniques to perform a comprehensive assessment of social-pragmatics that allows for functional gains to occur. You will understand how anxiety impacts performance and how to write meaningful social-pragmatic goals.

2.5 TSHA CEUs are pending approval. Registered participants will receive handouts and a link specific to the upcoming webinar with instructions to connect from the home or work computer/device prior to the event.
