LA/FA provides teachers with a process for developing fundamental skills in planning for and monitoring effective lesson planning and formative assessment practices, to ensure delivery of more effective instructional practices in every classroom.

Participants will engage in a planning process that beings with deconstruction of TEKS into knowledge and skills statements, followed by a plan for sequencing instruction, supported by exemplar assessment items. This process supports the creation of quality lesson plans and applies to every content area.
