Manipulatives! Learn by DOING to Bridge the Math Gap in Grade 2




We want you to be a part of our collaboration with Hand2mind!  Our focus will be on enhancing instruction through the use of manipulatives. Participants will practice using manipulatives to make conceptual learning a reality by bridging the gap between concrete and abstract. Gain new insight to meet the needs of all students through differentiated lessons.  Everyone will leave with a Hands-On-Standards book for their grade level and a sample set of manipulatives from the session.

 

Important Session Information:


This is PD will be face-to-face at ESC Region 12.

There is a $50 material fee included for this session.

Enhanced Curriculum Co-op and Comprehensive Campuses attend at no cost but will pay a $50 materials fee.
