Teaching Writing is Hard K-12

Writing is an essential and robust tool for communicating our thoughts; however, capturing those thoughts is not always an easy task. Many students struggle with written communication that is meaningful and structurally accurate. In this session, participants will learn instructional strategies to encourage and engage students in writing to communicate their thoughts, ideas, and understandings in ways that are both authentic and satisfy the demands of the TEKS.
