Fraction Action in Middle School Math

Understanding fractions is challenging for many of our middle school math students. Whether it’s fraction representations, equivalency, proportionality, or operations with fractions, the struggle is real. Join us in this session as we explore the conceptual and procedural aspects of fractions. We will focus on how to plan instruction incorporating manipulatives and models as we guide our students in building their own understanding of fractions. Participants will leave this session with information and resources ready for classroom implementation.
