CTE and College Readiness Conference

This annual regional CTE Conference will now include aspects of College Readiness.  CTE is at the forefront of educational reform and is leading dynamic change that will positively impact students across the nation for the next decade and beyond.  This conference will include break out sessions over CTE, Transition, future economic projections, advanced academics, dual credit, FAFSA, and counseling and advising.  Join us for a premier professional learning experience to help teachers, counselors and administrators enhance their skills and continue to build partnerships with all stakeholders in the education of our future workforce. 

Important Session Information:

Day 1 will take place at the Baylor Research and Innovative Collaboration (BRIC).
breakout sessions over Transition services, dual credit, advanced academics, FAFSA, labor market and careers, information, WBL, and virtual job shadow.

Day 2 will take place at Texas State Technical College. The morning will consist of presentations from TSTC administration about career trends and outlooks in technical careers, and programs offered at TSTC. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to select a program cluster, and participate in a tour and walk-through of the programs in an effort to improve your CTE classroom and guide your students into future careers.

Lunch will be provided both days!
