Google Classroom 101 and Beyond
Meaningful Technology Application for All Subjects
Share
Google Classroom is a free suite of productivity tools that includes email, documents, and storage. Classroom was designed collaboratively with teachers to help them save time, keep classes organized, and improve communication with students. Tthis session will support teachers in fully accessing Google classroom to increase productivity in the classroom.
So, your school uses Google applications. Google Classroom is an invaluable tool that allows structured communication between student, teacher, and even parent. Use classroom to push out assignments, start discussions, facilitate flipped learning, go paperless, and more. In this session, we will explore the basics of the user interface tools and dig deep with the tools that Google has placed at our fingertips. Participants will have an opportunity to view lessons for every subject area (even electives!), and then design their own Classroom lessons for other participants to try out. We hope you will join us for this session, and better leverage this powerful tool.
Important Session Information:
This 6 hour session includes a dive into the basics of Google Classroom. After getting on the same page and aligning our skills, participants will explore more intermediate and expert functions while designing specifically for their content and grade level in order to make it meaningful and relevant. Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with other educators and learn from other creative individuals.
