Autism: Creating a Positive Behavioral Foundation in the Classroom

This session will provide information on autism spectrum disorders and the link to behaviors we see in our classrooms.  Participants will learn the "whys" of common classroom behaviors and the correlation with how students with Autism view their world.  We will explore both preventative strategies and "in the moment" strategies to best support our students diagnosed with Autism.  Participants will also discover multiple positive behavior supports that can be implemented immediately in the classroom.
