Active Learning for Students with Complex Access and Sensory Needs




This session is day 2 for the session: Multi-sensory Books for Students with Complex Access and Sensory Needs. Please register for this session only if you are registered for the Multi-sensory Books for Students with Complex Access and Sensory Needs; Elementary and or Middle/High School session. 

Active learning will be discussed in relation to literacy and the use of Multi-sensory books for students with the most complex needs. This session will review the principles of Active Learning and the strategies that can be implemented to provide literacy instruction for students with the most complex sensory needs. Participants will be given resources to support Active learning in their classroom to include additional free online modules.
