Decoding Decodables!
K-2




Decodable texts are essential when students are still in the decoding stages of reading.They offer authentic practice of taught phonics skills, and encourage students to decode to the text they are reading, instead of looking at the pictures. In this session we highlight the basic elements of decodable text, and explore practical lessons and routines for using decodables. 

Important Session Information:


Participants will receive 6 hours of credit for this session. 4 hours of the session will be held face-to-face and 2 hours will occur online. 

Enhanced Curriculum Co-op members may attend at no additional fee.
