This series of virtual sessions offer reflective practice for new SLPs providing services in the schools (i.e., either beginning SLPs with less than 2 years experience or those who have previously practiced in a medical/clinical setting). Participants will have an opportunity to reflect and ask questions as well as discuss additional pertinent topics.
Topics may include but are not limited to federal and TEA guidelines, impact & need statements, PLAAFPs & Standards-Based IEPs, progress monitoring, FIE/REEDs, compliance submissions, and assistive technology from the standpoint of a speech-language pathologist.
