Supporting CTE Students by Exploring best Practices for Math and English Learners

In this session, learn how to support English Learners in your Career and Technology classes.

Often the most interesting classes for any student, Career and Technology Education (CTE) has a unique opportunity to engage English Learners (EL) and help shape their academic language and career path. Come learn about ways to feel confident and prepared when working with English Learners.

Relevance and Engagement are two of the key factors for students' success in Mathematics. In order to achieve the ultimate results, students need to experience learning through their active participation in their math courses.  In this session, we will explore effective tech-based methods and applications for quick and easy implementation in your Career and Technology classes.
