ESSER Reporting Workshop




The intent of this training is to enhance the collaboration of LEA staff (ESSER Grant/Program Management, Administration/Leadership, Business/Finance, and others), to do some brain sharing around the ESSER reporting requirements. Topics will focus on collaboration within the segregation of duties, major takeaways or lessons learned from the last round of reporting requirements, as well as utilizing finance local use codes and implementing information repository systems now to reduce the reporting burden going forward. Attendees will have several engagement opportunities to transfer their learning to their exact systems for data sources and repository systems utilizing the provided detailed crosswalks and templates.

The first half of the workshop is a virtual training led by TASB at no cost to LEAs. The second half of the day will be a dedicated work session with the assistance of ESC 12 specialists in order for LEA teams to apply the information from the training.

We want to encourage LEAs to register multiple (groups of) individuals so they can work as a team (administration, grants/program, and finance) during the training to identify solutions and opportunities for their LEA to increase accuracy and reduce the reporting burden for this next round of reporting requirements.
