Recent research in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic suggests that the mental health dangers of suicide and self harm have been persistent in our school-aged youth and teens. Each year, ESC Region 12 educators, leaders, and stakeholders come together to renew our charge for school safety and student mental health as we unite in this fight to save our teens from the devastating impacts of mental health crises and suicide. Join us once again in this charge, as we explore local, state, and national resources, hear from those impacted by suicide loss, and learn more about vulnerable populations in our Texas schools.
ESC Region 12 will be hosting our partners from the Central Texas RAC to provide CEU credits for persons who hold certification as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel. Please see the statement below regarding the award of Continuing Education Credits as they apply:
Central Texas RAC is recognized as a Texas Department of State Health Services provider of continuing education (Course Number 600859).
This activity is recognized through Central Texas RAC as an ongoing Continuing Education Program qualifying for continuing education. It is the individual’s responsibility to retain documentation of attendance and claim only those hours actually attended. Central Texas RAC assigns 6 hours of CE for this program.
This will be a face-to-face session.
