Small Changes, BIG Impact: Encouraging Idea Development in Student Composition 6-12




One of the most challenging skills for young writers is how to bring depth to their ideas. How to dive deep into the concept, expand, investigate, and validate their line of reasoning with the ultimate goal of moving their reader into adopting the idea as true and accurate. You will walk away with ideas on how to incorporate small moves in your instruction that will empower your students to grow and develop ideas in new ways.
