Effective Leadership for High Quality Prekindergarten Education




An effective leader in early childhood education supports the framework for high quality program components. While public school administrators juggle many roles, it is important to have a deep understanding of child development and early childhood education practices. This session will provide leaders with the knowledge of best practices in prekindergarten versus other elementary grade levels, key "look-fors" in a prekindergarten classroom, and a brief overview of the newly revised 2022 Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.
