Increase Engagement in the Prekindergarten Classroom Make-and-Take




Engagement is critical for all students, but it can be especially important for our youngest learners. Explore scaffolded supports that motivate prekindergarten students with the yearning to learn and try new things through their own productive struggle. Discover useful strategies for call-backs, wait time, and developmentally appropriate questioning and prompting. In this "make-and-take" session, we will create engaging props and materials to be used in the classroom for activities such as finger plays, sensory bins, and more!
