The Dyslexia Handbook-Revised 2021, Procedures Concerning Dyslexia and Related Disorders from the Texas Education Agency outlines components of a formal Dyslexia Evaluation. This pre-recorded, self-paced virtual session is for dyslexia teachers, evaluation personnel, and others involved in the assessment and identification of dyslexia, that need a deeper understanding of the evaluation process.

Specific subtests of the WRMT-III – Woodcock Reading Mastery Test- III
-Report writing basics
Participants are expected to obtain test kits from their district and have access to all testing materials while engaged in this session; no assessment kits will be provided by ESC Region 12.
Course Requirements:
-Watching pre-recorded presentations and test administrations
-Scoring a sample protocol for each test
-Completing a quiz over each manual
-Administering each assessment 3 times to an individual for non-identification purposes and submitting protocols for grading. ESC Region 12 will provide three (3) protocols for each test for the course requirement. Participants will be provided a prepaid mailing package to return completed protocols for grading. If minimum standards are not met, additional administrations may be required,
