Special Education Evaluation: Considerations for Emergent Bilingual Students




In this session, participants will learn what it means to be Emergent Bilingual (EB) in the public school system, learn what options are available for learning and classroom placement and accommodations, and identify what differences to consider when making a referral to special education and considerations during the evaluation process.  Participants will walk away with research, resources, and assessment tips.
