Grades 3-5




Discover the power of productive struggle in promoting meaningful learning and growth in your students, while helping them develop a growth mindset, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts. In this session, teachers will learn specific actions to take,  like how to support struggle during the lesson using specific moves, selecting rich tasks and planning for productive struggle prior to teaching. Participants will walk away with the knowledge of how to cultivate a classroom environment that fosters resilience, critical thinking, and deep understanding of math concepts. By embracing the concept of productive struggle, you'll be able to help your students transform challenges into opportunities for growth, learning, and resilience which will foster success in math and beyond!
