Preventing food borne illness is an enormous responsibility for all food service operations, but it is especially critical in child nutrition programs. The best way to prevent food borne illness is by integrating food safety and sanitation principles and practices into your food service operation. In this program, we will give an overview of developing a written school food safety program and standard operating procedures.

Important Session Information:

HACCP - This session will be zoomed as part of the 2023 Child Nutrition Summer Workshop.  This training will include Food Safety and Saniation  as well as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point.
